The Atenas Decorative Fireplace

Here is what I love about the Atenas... It's versatility. What do I mean by that? Well, when you first look at it, it seems like a really simple fireplace, but upon looking at it a bit closer, you realize just how intricate this design is.

So its versatile because if your trying to achieve a classic look in your room, you can do it. However, if you're trying to achieve a more elegant appearance, you can do it too.

It all goes back to what I was mentioning earlier... Upon first glance it looks like a simple faux fireplace, but as you take a closer look, you realize just how much work goes into this thing.

This decorative fireplace is available in two magnificent and popular finishes. First, you have it in Crackled Antique, a finish that has become extremely popular in recent years inside the furniture industry. This finish is a cream colored finish that has small distress marks throughout the finish. Its almost dreamy! We also have this faux fireplace available in Cherry finish. Cherry as you know is the evergreen color when it comes to furniture.

This faux fireplace, features a large number of hand carved accents.

As you can see in this close up, take a look at the detail. By the way... it's all hand carved!


To create a contrast there are small gold accents (for the cherry finish) that are meticulously hand painted. If you decide to go with the Crackled Antique, the accents are painted in a pewter grayish color.

Let's take a little bit about the construction of these fireplaces, the fireplace is solidly built using imported plywoods as well as solid oak trunks. To ensure no cracks appear later in the fireplace’s life, we make sure the wood used to construct the fireplace is thoroughly kiln dried. The back panel of the fireplace is built out of stainless steel to ensure a rust free appearance. This magnificent fireplace has many hand-carved accents that take quite some time to make. Not only do they show the makers outstanding skill, but they are sure to impress just about anyone. The painting process is a tedious and laborious one, which requires several coats of finish to be applied.  Rest assured, NO ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED! That's right, this thing comes to your home just about ready to go! All you need to do is plug it in and your good to go!

-Note: This decorative Fireplace does not product any heat. The log set including makes a crackling sound and realistic looking flames. However, it does not produce any heat. You can buy a small heater from us that is placed underneath the log set, and that will provide *some* heated air. However, don't expect it to heat up your entire house.
